TREVOR MANSFIELD & CHRIS ENOS
This exhibition brings together the floral sculptures of Chris Enos and Trevor Mansfield, offering two generational perspectives on one of art’s most enduring symbols: the flower. The flower, with its vast symbolic range, is approached in strikingly different ways by both artists.
Enos treats the flower as a metaphor for aging and decay, using a microwave to deconstruct its form, embracing the beauty and discomfort of its gradual breakdown. In contrast, Mansfield explores the flower in full bloom, deconstructing and reconstructing it into new, imaginative forms.
Despite their different approaches, both artists capture the fleeting nature of their floral sculptures through photography, transforming these ephemeral moments into enduring works of art for reflection and contemplation.
